Forbio is an independent consultancy that provided forestry, biomass and bioenergy related services to companies and organizations in Sweden or abroad. Since August 2023 operations are limited due to an employment with the Swedish state-owned forest company Sveaskog.

About Forbio

Forbio is owned and operated by Anders Jönsson based in Oxelösund, Sweden. The business started in 2013.

• M.Sc. in Forestry, graduated from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences in 1999
• Formerly employed by Skogforsk, McKinsey & Co., Sveaskog and BioMass Capital (BMC)
• Mainly market analytical or project oriented roles in market strategy, business planning and business development 
• Deep experience from forest industry, timberland and natural resource management and sustainability issues both in Sweden and internationally
